The Beginning

The birth of Sojourn Foto started when Kimsua Chay began searching for a means to document his travels. Kimsua wanted to share his experiences with his family and friends around the world and what started out as a simple blog of photos about a trip to Kauai has turned into a journey that has, thus far, led Kimsua towards an enduring passion for photography. That passion has now given birth to Sojourn Foto so that Kimsua can continue to share his vision with the world.

Travel Photojournalism

Travel Photojournalism is Kimsua’s one true passion in photography. Kimsua loves to travel, loves to take photos and loves to tell the story through his own eyes. Regardless of the location or event, his mission is to tell the story as it happens through a photojournalistic eye so that you, the reader, can live through those moments in time as if you were there as well.

Weddings, Events and Portraits

While Travel Photojournalism is the one of the main focuses of Sojourn Foto, we also specialize in Wedding (both Western and traditional Cambodian ceremonies), Event and Portrait photography throughout the Southern California region and in Denver, Colorado.

All our wedding packages include at least 6 Hours of coverage, an Online Gallery of images, a 2-hour Engagement Session at a location of your choice and print credit through our online gallery. Customized and a la Carte packages are also available with options such as Flush-Mount Albums, Additional Hours, Parent Books, Guest Books, Canvas Wraps, High Resolution DVD’s and MUCH more.

Portrait packages are available for families, children, seniors and pretty much anyone else. Packages include up to several hours of coverage as well as print credit, and many other options.

Sojourn’s 6 Hour Wedding Package start at $1800 and Sojourn’s Portrait Sessions and Packages start at $250.

Prints of any of the photos seen here can be purchased by contacting Kimsua directly or by visiting Sojourn’s online gallery. Sojourn’s limited edition fine art sets and prints can only be purchased directly from Kimsua by email.
