I hope your New Year’s eve was a heck of a lot better than mine since I was laying in bed with my eyes closed due to the fact that I had to wake up at 4:00 AM Central for work! Anyways, I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted any new photos so here’s a few from today when I was out and about with Julie enjoying the beautiful Southern California weather. I should also mentioned that the photos were taken with a new lens (A Sigma 50 1.4 prime for all you gear heads out there) that I recently received so naturally I had to find a way to get out and play with it for a little bit. But that’s enough from me, on to the photos! Enjoy!

The wetlands weren’t as active as they were the last time I was there but I was fortunate enough to find some Brown Pelicans diving for food just as the sun was setting. So while it may not be the most exciting way for most people to end their day, it was a great way for me to end my day as I was able to simply go out and shoot for the shear pleasure of it.
